OK, so I've been thinking about this BS and need to post up.

Way back when the SWBA started right there in the parking lot at Dana Point EB was asked about his participating since he was one of the directors. Questions were asked and anwered. It was a done deal and
now, some 50+ events later he's done which I'm assuming would put major stress on Cory.

UNACCEPTABLE EB AND GET YOUR SORRY A S S READY FOR ROUND 1.

If you don't, I'm proposing that each and every team bring their Bic lighters or flame throwers (Bear has one) and light them in unison at the start of Round 2 or 1 or whatever it is and NOT START AT MISSION BAY. It's that easy.
And if, as I expect it might be, someone or team has a problem with ANYONE PARTICIPATING let's put it to a vote and see just what the majority thinks. Let the group make the call EB.
I'm in it to win it and I want to beat the very best there is. EB and Cory
are right there at the top of that group.
Your call EB but I won't give up on this BS.

OK, so I truly believe that the only way to get rid of rumors flying around is to face them head on and put them to rest.

Did, a little research today and the rumors are that EB not fishing the events is due to the "talk" coming from "a couple of the top teams".
Now, I don't know, nor do I care, just who these teams (or team) might
be but I will say this to each and every team in the SWBA. If the shoe fits then wear it.

EB and James put this series together. From day 1 there were questions
regarding a director actually fishing the event. In all honesty I was one of those who questioned it but soon realized this is a great group and this
series would, at the very least, be fun so went along with it. IT WORKED and we have now completed 6 years and the only real issue I can see is Bear and I getting back on time. Then this.

My thoughts haven't changed. I want to fish with and against the best and
EB and Cory are in that group.
If you don't think you can succeed against the best or feel that EB and Cory being gone would benefit you then I'll simply say GIT GONE
I'd hate like hell to lose anyone but, if it's you whinning that is causing this
then I'd much rather fish against EB and Cory than your sorry a s s.

There's only one way I can see to put this one to bed.

WE VOTE AS A GROUP. ALL 70+ TEAMS OR WHATEVER AND MAJORITY RULES.

I'll go out on a limb and bet that 90% would vote for EB and Cory.

And, don't kid yourself, I think most of us have a real good idea just who
is doing all the whinning. My advice to them would be this. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. We don't need you to enjoy the series.

C'mon EB. Stand up for what you knew was right from day 1. We want
you there for the a s s kicking and I don't mean watching. I mean pulling you pants down and giving me a great shot at taking you and Cory down.

I haven't even fished an event, just followed the SWBA, and it makes me sad to think that EB is not fishing it. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the Fred Hall show and all I can say is he is a class act that was willing to answer any questions people had. When I do jump on board and fish an event, i hope EB is there in full force.

Aight folks, I'm not fishing this season (1st time sitting out), but I'm gonna chime in anyways.

Eric, all I can say about whoever is whining about you fishing is let them cry like lil bishes. You are a fisherman, you fish, that's what you do. If they don't like it they can take their whining asses elsewhere.

I first started fishing this series with my friend Dan S. because I thought it would be fun. Guess what? It was!! Then after a full season I realized that some of these sum bishes were actually really good fisherman. I fished with a few of them, including EB. The amount of knowledge I've gained from fishing and talking with some of the peeps in this series is immeasurable. If you've never seen EB work the wall you've missed a true master of the game. I can honestly say I've become a much better fisherman because of the people in this series. Then the competitive side of me popped up. It's always been there but now there was a new focus. I wanted to beat these amazing anglers, ALL OF THEM. To have them not fish this series would scar any success I had in this series. If you are a competitor then why the hell would you not want to fish against the best field that can be assembled? What honor would the Lakers have beating a high school team? To me, not wanting to compete against the best shows cowardness and weakness. If you can't hang either step it up or step aside, but don't F**K it up for the rest of the field who wants to compete against the best. And yes, the SWBA is the best So Cal has to offer in regards to talent and class!!!
