Got out on Saturday with a friend from Vandenberg to get a few SM fish on the fly (yeah, I know it is not the swimmies, but it is what I do).
Only had 15 minutes of rain the whole day!
Ended the day with 20 plus fish and lots of laughs. Put the boat away just as the rain came down in later day.

Yes, I tie my own flies and have to thank many of the gang in the SWBA for showing me colors of swimbaits that they like.
I try to copy colors and combination of those and we've done pretty well with them. Bagged a 7.5 pound Sandy late last year, so we are getting there.
