Registration: Please follow these steps in order to register your team for the 2008 SWBA 'Race for the Cup' tournament series. All tournaments within the series are 'Open Tournaments' that may also be fished individually.

Step 1: Print two copies (one per angler) of the 2008 SWBA waiver/release form from the link below.

Step 2: Each angler must complete and sign a copy.

Step 3: Mail completed forms along with entrance fees in the form of a check or money order in the amount of:
Entrance Fee: $100/ Tournament
Annual Membership Fee: $50/Angler

Make check payable to Salt Water Bass Anglers, write your team's name on your check/money order and mail to:

Rd. 5 'The Calico Coastal'

August 23rd
Sign-in: 3:00-5:00am
Location: Embarcadero Launch Ramp

Species: Calico Bass, no less than 13" in length.

Boundaries: All coastal and inner harbor waters within the 120' depth line and deemed legal to fish by the USCG and local authorities.

Registration:
Pre-registered teams: only need to pass by the booth for sign up, boat inspections and pay an optional 'Big Fish' sidepot.
Walk on teams: Both members of these teams will have to approach the registraton table to complete/sign a waiver and pay an entrance fee of $220. CASH ONLY will be accepted the morning of the tournament.

Boat Numbers/ Flights:
Each team will be designated a team number for the season. They have been predetermined according to the order your team has signed up.
Every team will receive a set of official decals that MUST be affixed to your boat in one or the other following locations.
*Rear starboard corner as high off the water line as possible.
*Upper starboard corner of your wind screen or windshield.
If you have not already affixed your boat number, one of our staff members will assist you in this process.

Start: 5:30am
Location: Inside the Dana Point Breakwall

Draw Start/Flights: The starting boat/Flight schedule for this event will be determined by a random draw at 6pm on the Wednesday preceding this tournament at Sav On Tackle, 9917 Orr & Day Road, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670.
In order to qualify for the start, all teams must find their respective place in line based on the flight schedule and must pass by the tournament boat. If your teams number is not visually confirmed by the tournament boat your team will be disqualified.

Weigh-in: Dana Point Fuel Dock.
Weigh-in Deadline:
Flight 1: (1:30pm)
Flight 2: (1:45pm)
Flight 3: (2:00pm)

All teams must check in with the official tourament boat, which will be on station at the closest channel marker bouy to the weigh-in site, within their flight deadline in order for their catch to be weighed.
There will be no exceptions to this rule. Please make sure you are aware of your Boat #, Flight #, and Weigh-in deadline.

BBQ/Awards Ceremony: 2:30pm
Location: North West Corner of the Embarcadero parking lot.
